Congressional Leadership Fund giving Handel another major boost

The Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), a PAC connected to U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan, announced on Wednesday their plans to pull in another small army of field workers to help lead Karen Handel to victory in June.

CLF says that they are prepared to add 45 door knockers and target 100,000 additional homes ahead of the runoff election. Additionally, they're releasing a new radio ad hammering Democrat Jon Ossoff's campaign connection to Nancy Pelosi.

“CLF’s efforts have ensured Jon Ossoff has no place to hide from his ties to Nancy Pelosi and West Coast liberals, and will continue to do so right through Election Day” said Corry Bliss, CLF Executive Director. “Ossoff has tried to mislead voters from day one. From his flimsy resume to his unwavering support of Pelosi’s dangerous policies, Georgia voters can’t trust Jon Ossoff.”

So far, CLF has spent a whopping $6.7 million on the race to replace Tom Price. The runoff, expected to be a nailbiter, takes place on June 20.
