GOP super PAC about to pump millions more into CD-6

The Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), a super PAC with ties to top-brass Republicans, plans to throw millions more into keeping Tom Price's House seat red.

On Wednesday, the PAC announced that it would funnel another $2.5 million on TV ads beginning May 10. In addition, CLF also says they plan to spend another $1 million on mailers, digital efforts, and knocking on 200,000 doors in the district.

They've already spent loads of money attacking Jon Ossoff (at least $3 million ahead of the April 18 election), but CLF Executive Director Cory Bliss says their "work to define Jon Ossoff has only just begun."

“The idea that the Democrats’ chosen candidate is someone who doesn’t even live in the 6th District, has no record of accomplishment, and is relying on Nancy Pelosi to fund his campaign shows how desperate they are,” Bliss said in a statement. “The truth is, Ossoff is unfit to serve Georgia’s 6th District. We’ll continue to expose him as the flawed candidate he is, and ensure Karen Handel is the next congresswoman from GA-06.”

The runoff between Handel and Ossoff will take place on June 20.
